Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games medals - minted in Royal Australian Mint in Canberra

This week's program presented two interviews: first with the newly elected General Secretary of Bangladesh Australia Association Canberra Mr. Lutful Kabir - talking about his feelings and Association activities, and the second with Dr. Bina D'Costa - on the fund-raising function of Drishtipat Australia to be held in Canberra next weekend. The two beautiful songs played in the program are 'tumi amar prothom shokal' by Bangladeshi singers Tapan Chowdhury and Shakila Zafar, and a hit hindi movie playback song 'bhigi bhigi si hey ye rate' sung by Bangladesh's band star James. This week's program was produced and presented by Iskander Chowdhury.
